Custom screen switch making off: started with a V70 mirror switch for previous/next page on screen but does not match the Amazon style.
Decided I wanted all visible switches to look like stock. Bought a 3 position spring return switch and made an adapter and axle extension on the lathe.
For the bezel I tried making a mold so I could metalshape them and polish but ended up having them 3D printed. One for < screen > , one for ‘rackvidd’ =range (standard or long) and one for ‘backrutan’ =rear window (heating). Thanks to Robert for the translations to Swedish.
Front wiring almost ready so time to install the dash. Had to add a ring with two locking pins to prevent rotation. Furthermore I discovered that the speedo is behind the dash where I planned to put a switch and they interfere, hmmm.
Interference fixed! “Skarm” (screen) switch in place. Have taken a corner out of the speedo since there is no meter anymore anyway. Now wiring the Ampseal connector for the main screen.
