Got the axles loaded into our Volvo 940 to install them. At Jansen Restorations my friend Ben dropped by coincidentally and said “Are you going to use the rear axle like that? That’s not according to your own standard, is it?” And he was right. To be honest it was not. It was scratched and greasy. So I changed the plan and cleaned, sanded and taped it and it received some fresh paint first.
