Glued an adapter onto the blower motor to attach the recirculation flap. New challenge: wiper motor arm is blocking the straight exit for the control lever.

“It would fit if we could get it in” is a known EV conversion challenge Anne from @newelectric once said. Decided to make a custom recirculation flap with a bottom control connection. Needs some refinement though to get it in.

Unfortunately it did not last very long. Motor position feedback turned out not to be at the far ends, but in the middle so my software made it slam too much.

Decided to give a servo a try. Works like a charm and easy to control. Downside is that I need to make a V2 of my EV-Peripherals controller.
