Since we did want to drive an electric car we needed a quick fix since it will take a while to repair the Volvo. After some research we found a Nissan e-NV200 Evalia. Spacious, around 200 km range, fast charging and potential to turn into a mini camper. We saw an interesting car. The disadvantage, it was in Dresden, a 650 km drive.
Buying the Nissan unseen was probably not a good idea so I took the Volvo 940 and a couple of liters of water to refill ‘coolant’ on my way and went to Germany. It was a very nice car and Leafspy confirmed the battery health status was very good so I bought it.
